Is the Church Perishing?

February 11, 2021 by Andy Lesnefsky 6 Comments

Goodbye and Hello Part 2

It’s been such a blessing to hear from you via email and comments on the blog at redeemedonline.com about what’s touched you from our past videos and series.

From encouragements to stories of encountering Jesus to even a saved marriage.

Your testimonies and kind words are so encouraging. God is good.

Today, I have a second video for this “Hello and Goodbye” series and it’s titled “Is the Church Perishing?”

It’s a video about vision and what is worth giving up everything for in our lives. Watch it now.

I love hearing from you. I hope this little series piques your interest in what’s coming next.  Today’s video asks you to share what is the vision you are working towards in your life. I’d love to hear from you. Comment on the website or shoot me an email.

Tomorrow I’ll share more of what the Lord has been doing in my heart and what the “Hello” is 😀.

Andy

At Holy Mass this morning, that was in the Latin Rite; and as I could not receive the Lord at Holy Commission; I opened my old prayer book at random (My hour before Our Eucharistic Lord) at that time and read this there.

“Oh lovable heart of my Redeemer Thou art the home of all virtues the source of all grace the burning furnace which sets all holy souls on fire with love.

In Thee Gods infinite love finds its object; in Thee the sorrowing souls find their refuge; in Thee souls that love Thee find their rest.

Oh Heart worthy to rain over all hearts and to possess the love of all; Sacred Heart wounded for me once on the Cross by the lance of my sins, Thou art still wounded for me on the Altar, not now by the lance but by the love Thou bearest me.

Loving heart that loves us so tenderly and art so little loved in return, cure the world of its cruel ingratitude and set all hearts on fire with a true love for Thee.

Oh Divine Heart! be thou my consolation in trials; my rest in labour; my comfort in anxiety; my shelter from the storms of life.

I consecrate today my soul and body, my heart, my will, my life, all that I have to give I unite all my thoughts and affections and desires to those of Thy Sacred Heart.

Oh eternal father I offer the love of the heart of Jesus if Thou shouldst reject my love Thou cannot reject that of Jesus who is Holiness itself. May His love supply what is wanting in mine and make me pleasing in Thy site.

Eucharistic Heart of my God living in beating under to the Vale of the Sacred Spaces; I adore Thee.

Oh Virgin Mary. Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, who art the glory of the Christian people, the joy of the universal Church, the salvation of the world; pray for us, and awaken in all the faithful a lively devotion to the Most Holy Eucharist, that they may be made worthy to receive Thee daily.”

I just thought to share this with you.

    God Bless you,
    Peter.

The vision I am working toward with my community is one of fraternal love, of bringing people closer to God’s mercy and love . People are suffering and need to be welcomed , contained, not rejected and judged. It’s all about reaching out for people who have been left out of the church .

The vision I am focusing on is to be a prepared, available and servant-hearted follower of Jesus Christ. Your videos help me to do that by the inspiring, live testimonies of those who also have a life commission to love God and share His Good News to those in our community.
Thank you for sharing your talents and vision to bring the reality of God’s Love to us all.

I have been praying for your ministry. I recognize Our Lady of Holy Rosary Church in St Amant, Louisiana. It is not my parish, but I attend Bible study there and many other wonderful events. I have loved your videos for several year. They have taught me so much about our Catholic faith and brought me closer to our Lord. Continue your good work you are a blessing!
    God Bless!

I agree that you made the right decision. You inspire me to share my faith more. Thanks for sharing and I hope that we can all help you and your missionaries to help more teens in the inner city. Thanks for all that you do.
