In part two of our series on Freedom, we talk about freedom from shame. As Catholics we can talk about “Catholic guilt.” Shame is not guilt, but rather the lie we believe that God can’t love us because of what we done or what’s been done to us.
Andy Lesnefsky talks about the lessons we learn from the story of the woman caught in adultery and what Jesus does for her.
Christ came that we might be free. We pray you would know this freedom today.
The Featured Saint in this episode is St. Joan of Arc. 3 Lessons she teaches about holiness are discussed:
- Your purpose in Life- “I was born for this.”
- Core of who she was flowed from her Sacramental life “Trust in God. Make confession, and be shriven, for so God will help you.”
- Trust in God. When asked if she is in God’s grace: “If I am not, God put me there, and if I am, God keep me there!”
